City Developments (CDL) has moved 18 out of 25 units at the launch of its high-end Leonie Hill condominium project New Futura, The Straits Times (ST) reported.

The units, mostly three- and four- bedroom units, were sold at an average price of S$3,200 per sq ft (psf), the report said.

The 25 units released during CDL’s private viewing are in the 36-storey South Tower, with prices starting from S$3.8 million for a 1,098 sq ft two-bedroom unit of 1,098 sq ft to S$6.9 million for a 2,250 sq ft four-bedroom unit, ST reported.

The entire project has a total of 124 units on a site area of 87,000 sq ft.

Among the buyers, two-thirds were Singapore PRs and foreigners while one-third were Singaporeans.

Located a short distance away from Orchard Boulevard, New Futura is a freehold luxury development designed by iconic American architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

The project is being marketed by five agencies – PropNex Realty, ERA Realty, Huttons, OrangeTee & Tie and Savills.
