Investors like to think their analysis is smarter, better researched, and more insightful than their peers’. The perfect company for an investor is one that no one has heard about and is set to explode.

The companies on the following list do not fall into any of those categories.

The companies on this list are no secret. A lot of them are household names, like Apple or PepsiCo. They require no special talents to pick, and no special insight to understand why they are so popular. But popular they are.

The list was compiled by Credit Suisse, and it represents the top 19 large-cap ‘darlings’ of the investment world. They are ranked by the number of investment firms that own shares in the company.

Read on to find out which companies made the list.
