Two students at a French school have been badly injured in a vehicle attack, according to local media.
French national TV station BFMTV and a local newspaper website both said at least two students were run down in a deliberate vehicle attack at around 4 p.m. local time on Friday.
The attack took place outside IGS, a multi-campus higher education institution with a location in Blagnac, a town near Toulouse in southwestern France.
La Dépêche, the regional newspaper in the Toulouse area, reported that the two students were “between life and death.” The reports said the victims were from China and are in their early 20s.

The driver, a man, was arrested. La Dépêche reported that he was already known to police for mental health problems.
Outlets initially reported that the students were from a local high school, but subsequently said that it was IGS, which teaches adult learners.
