On Thursday, WeWork is opening its newest location in New York City at 11 John Street in the city’s financial district.

But what makes the latest location different from other WeWork offices around the globe is where it’s housed: straddling the brand-new Fulton Center – a massive, futuristic terminal that’s home to a Shake Shack and an oculus-style skylight – and the historic Corbin Building, which was built in 1889.

The new office is WeWork’s 15th historically-landmarked building and the eighth in New York City alone. The company says the new building is part of its commitment to breathing new life into historic buildings that might otherwise be forgotten.

WeWork’s newest space faces walls of windows and features the modern aesthetic the startup is known for. Scroll below to see inside.

WeWork is known for its warm and welcoming interiors and creative workspaces. The new location is no different.

BONUS: Here’s a look inside another historic location — this one is in Soho. Built in 1889, the building originally housed commercial storefronts when Soho was the city’s center for mercantile and dry goods.
