- Taco Bell Chile
Taco Bell has plenty of wild menu items in America, from the Waffle Taco to the Doritos Locos Tacos. But what if the chain looked abroad for inspiration?
Food Beast recently visited Taco Bell’s headquarters and photographed some of the chain’s menu items from other countries.
From kimchi quesadillas in Korea to loaded fries in the UK, Taco Bell restaurants around the worlds are serving up items you can’t get in the US.
And it seems like Taco Bell is looking abroad for inspiration. The fast-food chain is launching a test of the Cheetos Burrito after a successful debut of a Crunchwrap Supreme stuffed with Cheetos in Canada.
Intrigued by Food Beast’s investigation and hoping to find the next Cheetos Burrito, Business Insider decided to explore some of Taco Bell’s international menus on our own.
Here are 12 items that Taco Bell doesn’t serve in America – but that we wish they did.
1. Kimchi quesadillas — South Korea
Taco Bell only launched kimchi quesadillas in South Korea in June, combining the fermented Korean dish with typical Taco Bell cheesiness.
2. Chocomarsh Wrap — Spain
- Taco Bell Spain
Chocolate plus marshmellows combine for a dessert that can only be found on Taco Bell menus in Spain.
3. Cheetos Crunchwrap Supreme — Canada
- Taco Bell Canada
Canada’s Beefy Cheddar Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders and Supreme Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders launched earlier this year, before the fast-food chain announced it is adding a Cheetos Burrito to the menu in Cincinnati in mid-August.
4. Loaded fries — Taco Bell locations around the world
- Taco Bell Chile
Perhaps the greatest betrayal – Taco Bell sells loaded fries in many of its international locations, including the UK, Japan, and Chile, despite a fry-less US menu.
5. Tikki Masala Burrito — India
This limited-time offering was marketed as the “rebel side” of tikki masala.
6. Chocodilla — Latin America and the Philippines

A tortilla filled with Nutella is simple, but sounds delicious.
7. Fried chicken and rice — Saudi Arabia
- Taco Bell Saudi Arabia
While Taco Bell does serve Cantina burrito bowls in the US, the simplicity of crispy chicken and rice looks pretty good as well.
8. Flauta Dulce — Latin America
- Taco Bell Panama
A number of Latin American countries, including Guatemala, Panama, and the Dominican Republic, feature a flauta filled with dulce de leche on their dessert menu.
9. Kathitto — India
- Taco Bell India
Instead of a tortilla, this burrito is wrapped in a dhakai parantha. Taco Bell’s website calls the dish: “Mexican inside, Indian outside!“
10. Fry-stuffed burrito — Chile
- Taco Bell Chile
Not only do Taco Bells in other countries sell fries; locations in Chile also sell the Burrito Papa Suprema.
11. Beer — Spain
On Tuesdays, Taco Bell locations in Spain offer deals on beer. While a handful of US Taco Bell locations have liquor licenses, it is by no means as widespread as Taco Bell Spain’s “Happy Day” deals.
12. Shrimp and avocado burrito — Japan
Taco Bell Japan has a seafood vibe for reasons beyond the shrimp-stuffed burrito. The Japanese word for octopus is tako, and the Mexican fast-food chain often abbreviates its name as [octopus emoji] [bell emoji] in the country.
