The Sports Center at Chelsea Piers is located in New York City and hosts more than 100 group fitness classes each week. There’s a quarter-mile indoor running track a and 200-meter competition track, plus a six-lane, 24-yard indoor swimming pool with expansive views of the Hudson River.
David Barton Gym Limelight is housed in a landmark New York City building that was once a church and a legendary night club. Today, the gym still maintains the breathtaking stained-glass windows that are reminders of its past.

Singita Sabora Tented Camp sits in the untouched wilderness of the Grumeti Reserves of northern Tanzania. The camp includes a gym where you’ll be treated to up-close views of the plains and its wildlife.
Singita also has both a gym and an outdoor tennis court at its Sasakwa Lodge, which is also located in the Grumeti Reserves of northern Tanzania. Zebras are known to surround the tennis court, and they definitely aren’t afraid to come say hello while you exercise.
High Point Climbing and Fitness has two locations in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and will soon be opening a third in Birmingham, Alabama. Try the outdoor climbing walls for a breath of fresh air.
Indoor climbing facilities in its Downtown Chattanooga location include auto-belay walls, a lead climbing pit, and two bouldering areas. In the Riverside Chattanooga location, there are top ropes, leading climbing, and a 3,000 square foot bouldering area inside.
Gleason’s Gym first opened in the Bronx in 1937 and later moved to Brooklyn. Besides being the oldest active boxing gym in the US, it has also been a training destination for some of the world’s most famous boxers, including Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Jake LaMotta.

For those who are inspired by group fitness, SWERVE in New York City is the ultimate go-to. Members are split into three groups — red, green, and blue — to take on sprints, hills, and upper body exercises on bikes. Riders can view their personal metrics on the bike console and even have it emailed to them later. Instructors will sometimes change the bright neon lights to the winning team’s colors to inspire competition between squads.

Zenergy is a health club, spa, and boutique set within the stunning mountains of Ketchum, Idaho. The main fitness floor provides state-of-the-art cardio and resistance equipment with north-facing views of the mountains. Exercise options include everything from tennis and yoga to squash.

The gym at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong overlooks the city’s iconic harbor and skyline. Located on the rooftop of the 9th level of the hotel, facilities include a heated swimming pool outside and personal trainers inside.

Montreal’s Smith Vigeant Architectes converted abandoned sugar silos into what claims to be the highest climbing structure in Canada, called Allez Up.
The climbing wall formations within the main building are covered in multi-colored holds that offer separate routes for beginner and more experienced climbers.
