Leaks seem to indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S9 won’t see major updates in design and specifications and will be very similar to the S8, pictured here.

The hype is building up to Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event where the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to be unveiled and one Singapore telco is already riding on that wave.

From Tuesday (Feb 20), new and existing Circles.Life customers can register their interest online to buy the new smartphone when it is expected to be available in Singapore sometime in March, the virtual telco announced in a statement.

The S9 is expected to be announced at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2018 event in Barcelona on Feb 25, just ahead of the Mobile World Congress.

Like all its other phones, Circles.Life said it will offer the S9 with no contract and at retail price with a $0 upfront option through its partnership programme with DBS Bank and POSB.

Customers can choose to pay for their smartphone in installments of up to 24 months through their Visa or MasterCard credit cards with the banks. They can also choose to split their payments by choosing to pay an upfront amount of their choice and settle the rest by installment.

So far, much has been speculated but little known for sure about the new Galaxy model except for its tagline: “The camera. Reimagined”.

While earlier leaks seem to indicate that the S9 won’t have any major updates in terms of both design and specifications, some new camera features are expected.
