It’s a well-known fact: Singaporeans love to queue whether it be for food, or the latest hot fashion apparel.
Today proved no different.
A long line started as early as 6.40am on Thursday (July 13) outside the Louis Vuitton boutique at Ion Orchard, with at least 300 people hoping to get their hands on the latest collection from the French luxury label’s collaboration with New York-based streetwear label Supreme.
Thing is, the collection will only go on sale here from 10.30am on Friday. But fans were unaware of that at the time and thought they could start buying items today.
The buzz prompted the French luxury brand to hand out tickets based on a raffle registration which started at 7am.
A similar queue formed at a pop-up store in Suntec City last August for merchandise from Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo range.
