Nintendo is now selling a replica of the classic Super Nintendo controller for its latest console, the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for the Super Nintendo controller are available now for $30, but they’re currently exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Orders will begin shipping on September 18, based on availability.

Earlier this month Nintendo re-released 20 Super Nintendo games for the Nintendo Switch, and they’re all included for free with a subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service. Nintendo Switch Online costs $20 per year, and Amazon Prime members can get up to three months for free. Nintendo also offers a family account that lets up to eight people share a single Nintendo Switch Online subscription for $35 per year.

The Super Nintendo controller will function as a standard wireless controller for the Switch, but without the dual analog sticks of the official Nintendo Switch Pro controller. The Super Nintendo controller will have a rechargeable battery and use the same USB-C charging cable as the Switch.

Pre-orders for the SNES controller are available on Nintendo’s website, but the site also lists the controller as temporarily out of stock. The site still lets you go through the ordering process and it appears that orders will ship as more controllers become available.

Last year, Nintendo released replicas of the original Nintendo Entertainment System controllers to coincide with the release of NES games on the Nintendo Switch Online service. Nintendo also released miniature replicas of the Super Nintendo and Nintendo Entertainment System in prior years, which include many of the same games as the Nintendo Switch Online service.
