“Smart City” is a six-episode bi-weekly video series supported by the Info-communications Media Development Authority’s (IMDA) Public Service Broadcast programme.
Produced by The Business Times (BT), it will cover some of the Smart Nation initiatives launched by Singapore in fields such as electronic payments, digital identity, and transportation.
The pilot episode, titled “Smart Commute”, was released last Wednesday (Sept 5) and explored the republic’s hope of moving towards a more user-centric and efficient transportation system in the future.
Singapore’s aim of becoming a cash-free society will be covered in the second episode that will be out on Sept 19.
