Hello! Here’s what’s happening on Monday.

1. Australia, the US, India and Japan want to create their own version of China’s Belt and Road. The project is reportedly on the agenda for Turnbull’s talks with US President Donald Trump this week.

2. A former Trump campaign staffer reportedly agreed to plead guilty in the Russia investigation. That would make former deputy campaign manager Rick Gates the third person to cooperate with the investigation.

3. The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator said Britain can’t cherry pick bespoke deals. Guy Verhofstadt believes a bespoke Brexit deal on financial services “can not be the outcome of negotiations.”

4. During Trump’s visit to China last year a secret service agent tackled a Chinese security official. The incident occurred when a US aide carrying the nuclear football was blocked from following Trump. The Chinese security later apologized.

5. Facebook will use the US postal system to verify the identities of US election ad buyers. Starting this year Facebook will mail postcards to potential buyers that contain a special code allowing political ads to be purchased.

6. Brazil’s president has handed public security control of Rio de Janeiro to the military. The decree came after spiralling violence and will last until the end of 2018.

7. A drone may have caused a helicopter to crash in Hawaii. Federal authorities are investigating the incident, which could be the first drone-related aircraft crash in the US.

8. A plane also crashed in Iran with 66 people feared dead. Rescuers have yet to reach the crash site due to high levels of wind and snow on Sunday.

9. Women in Saudi Arabia are now allowed to start their own businesses. Previously, women legally required permission from their husband, or another male relative.

10. A new website allows stargazers to track Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster in space. The site, which is not affiliated with SpaceX but has gained Musk’s approval, estimates the car is more than 2 million miles from Earth.

And finally…

The largest annual migration on Earth is happening for Lunar New Year – these incredible photos show what the journey is like.
