Fave

Deals platform Fave is collaborating with Grab in a move to accelerate growth for both platforms across the region.

On Thurs (Oct 4), the companies jointly announced that Fave will begin to onboard GrabFood and GrabPay merchants in Singapore and Malaysia, in an effort to grow the two firms’ food delivery and mobile wallet services.

Fave will allow its customers to use GrabPay on its platform in the later part of this month, the company said.

The integration of the GrabPay wallet was done through GrabPlatform, a suite of APIs that enables partners to access components of Grab’s technology like logistics and payments.

According to Grab, this is the first of its kind integration in a partner app for the Grab Platform and underlines the appeal of Grab’s user base and Southeast Asia’s largest distribution channels.

The partners are also exploring additional ways to collaborate in the SME space, with a focus on integrating more services on both platforms, including FaveDeals, GrabPay’s QR code payments service and GrabRewards’ loyalty programmes.
