Celine Dion, one of the world’s most famous pop singers, will be performing in Singapore for the first time ever in July.
Scheduled for July 3 and 4, the concerts will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Grand Ballroom.
The legendary Canadian singer announced this in a Facebook video on Friday (Jan 12).
Dion, 49, said she would also be performing for the first time ever in Jakarta, Taipei, Manila and Bangkok.
Right before coming to Singapore, she will be performing in Tokyo and Macao for the first time in 10 years.
The singer, who first shot to worldwide fame in the 1990s, had cancelled a previous Asia Tour in 2014 due to her husband’s ailing health.
A ticket to her residency shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas costs anywhere from $55 to $500 (S$73 to S$664).
While ticketing details have not been announced, The Straits Times reported that TeamCeline members, MBS Loyalty card holders and Singtel mobile subscribers will have access to priority bookings before public sales begin.
